We Rise Together is a 30-second cinematic hero ad created to capture the spirit, intensity, and unity of modern disc golf. The goal of this piece was to elevate the sport visually and emotionally — presenting it not just as a game, but as a movement fueled by competition, community, and shared ambition. Designed as a flagship promotional asset, the ad blends high-performance athletic visuals with a unifying message that speaks to players, brands, and fans alike.

The concept centers on momentum — the idea that disc golf’s growth is collective. Every throw, every tournament, every new player contributes to something bigger. This film was built to reflect that rising energy and position disc golf with the cinematic weight and legitimacy seen in mainstream sports marketing.

Production Approach

To bring this concept to life, production took place in and around Charlotte, North Carolina over the course of a week. Rather than focusing solely on professional athletes, the approach centered on capturing the broader culture that intersects with disc golf. We filmed a wide range of everyday fans and players — from BMX riders and skateboarders to rock climbers, horse riders and cowgirls, music producers, and other creatives who share the same mindset of progression, independence, and community.

These lifestyle-driven scenes were paired with cinematic hero footage of high-level disc golf players, using high-speed cameras, drone cinematography, and intentional lighting to create a polished, premium look. The goal was to visually connect different subcultures and show how disc golf sits at the intersection of sport, creativity, and lifestyle. By combining authentic moments with stylized hero shots, the production created a layered visual story that feels both grounded and aspirational.
