For this spec campaign, we set out to highlight what makes Vessi Shoes stand out—their waterproof design built for everyday life and unexpected moments. We wanted to create a piece that instantly communicates both function and style, in a way that connects with athletes and lifestyle audiences alike.

Production Approach

Using our high-speed Freefly Ember camera, we captured the visceral impact of a shoe meeting mud in ultra-slow motion. The sequence begins with a disc stuck in the mud, setting the scene for an everyday problem. As the foot wearing a Vessi shoe stomps down, water and mud explode outward in stunning cinematic detail. On-screen text delivers the brand promise: “Don’t worry, they’re made for this.” A speed ramp brings the action back to real time as the shoe lifts cleanly from the mud, seamlessly transitioning to the Vessi logo. Every detail—lighting, framing, and motion design—was crafted to amplify the shoe’s durability and confidence.
